National Institute For Research In Tuberculosis (NIRT) Invites applications for the post of 09 Consultant, Project Technical Officer & Project Technician. Walk-in-Interview 02 & 03 August 2017. Qualification/ eligibility conditions, how to apply & other rules are given below.

Pay Scale: Rs.18000/- (Per Month )
Educational Qualification:
For Consultant: Professional having Masters qualification in Social Science/ Epidemiology/ Public Health/ Psychology from a recognized Institute.
For Project Technical Officer: Graduate in Sociology/ Social Work/ Psychology/ Anthropology relevant social science subjects from a recognized University or Masters degree in Sociology/ Social Work/ Psychology/ Anthropology/ Public Health/ relevant social science subjects.
For Project Technician: 12th pass in Science subjects or B Sc degree.
General Instructions:
Interested candidates may apply in the prescribed application form, which may be downloaded from the website www.nirt.res.in.
Application must be accompanied by non‐refundable processing fee of Rs.100/‐ (Rupees One Hundred Only) in the shape of demand draft from any nationalized Bank in favour of Director, NIRT, Chennai. SC/ST, PH and women candidates are exempted from the payment of fee, on production of valid certificate.
Caste certificate of SC/ST/OBC‐NCL should be on the prescribed proforma only issued by the competent authority as per Act / Orders of Government of India under which the same is recognized as SC/ST/OBC‐NCL.
Original documents/ certificates will have to be produced at the time of walk in written test/interview for verification.
The appointee will not have any claim for a regular post in the Institute or in any Department of GOI or under NIRT/ICMR or continuation of his / her service in any other study.
Candidates having proficiency in the local language Hindi/Marathi will be preferred.
The selected candidates will be posted to work anywhere in India.
NIRT reserves the right not to fill the above post/s without assigning any reason.
The number of vacancy shown is only tentative and it may vary. No enquiry in this regard will be entertained.
Mere possession of the educational qualifications and requisite experience will not entail any right for selection.
No TA /DA will be paid for attending the interview.
The competent authority reserves the right to select the candidate or refuse any or all the candidates at its discretion without any reason.
Any canvassing by or on behalf of the candidates or to bring political or other outside influence with regard to selection, recruitment shall be a disqualification.
