RITES requires services of a Diesel Shed/Workshop Fitters and Technicians with a background of Diesel Electric Loco Maintenance, willing to work on RITES project sites on deputation. 

Applications are being invited from the willing, dedicated, knowledgeable and experienced fitters and technicians of both Mechanical and Electrical wings for joining RITES in the following categories on deputation.

JOB DETAILS:

SALARY AND OTHER ALLOWANCES: 

In addition to the Railway salary including Dearness allowances, etc. The employees on distribution deputed at site projects are given the following allowance at the existing rate indicated against each.

JOINING TIME AND TRANSFER ALLOWANCE BENEFITS:

The staff will be given joining time when proceeding on and returning from deputation and accordance with the rules. Transfer allowances and incidental expenses admissible for the journeys both ways as per Company rules. 

MEDICAL FACILITIES:

The staff will be eligible for medical reimbursement facilities in accordance with the Rules of the Company. He may be allowed at his own option to avail Railway medical facilities. 

PRIVILEGE PASSES: Railway will continue to all to the staff the benefit to Passes and PTO sets etc. during the period of deputation. 

LEAVE & RETIREMENTS BENEFITS:

During deputation the staff will continue to be governed by the leave and retirement benefits Rules applicable to them as Railway employee.

Emergency Notification for Deputation to RITES-Formation for Panel of Inspection Engineers in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and M&C Discipline. RITES, Quality Assurance Division, Eastern Region, Kolkata, intend to constitute an URGENT PANEL of Inspecting Engineers for induction in RITES on deputation basis for following Discipline.

Note: 

Accordingly the applications are invited from the willing individuals who are presently working in Zonal Railways and Production Units in PB-2/GP4200)/Level 6 (in 7th CPC). The applicant should be either a diploma holder in relevant discipline with at least 10 years experience or a degree holder in relevant discipline with minimum 5 years experience (applicant having passed Section ‘A’ & ‘B’ of the Institution of Engineers, India, will be eligible to apply). Applicant should not be above 52 years of age as on last day for submitting the application i.e. 31/07/2017 [Relaxation of age bar is permissible under exception circumstances by the Selection (Interview) Board]. He should have adequate knowledge and operational experience in the discipline as indicate in the Annexure-II. Applicant should have minimum “Good” rating in all last 5 years APAR and must be free from Vigilance/SPE/CBI cases. Shortlisted candidates shall be required to present themselves for an interview.

The candidates selected and placed on the panel shall, on appointment in RITES, be entitled to Deputation pay (10% in case of outstation candidates subject to a maximum of Rs.4000/- and 5% in case of local candidates subject to maximum of Rs.2000/-) during their period of deputation. They shall also be entitled to receive additional allowance and benefits as decided by the RITES Management from time to time. Applicants must note that the period of deputation in RITES is 3 years.

The name of willing applicants who fulfill the above requirements and who are desirous of joining RITES on deputation may kindly be forwarded through proper channel along with their bio-data in the format enclosed herewith in Annexure-I so as to reach this office latest by 31/07/2017.
