A Walk-in-Interview will be held at this Institute on (06 Jun 2017) 13 Jun 2017 at 1000 hrs for a position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Voluntary Project Interns to work under the SERB Project entitled “WLAN Integrated GNSS System for Indoor Navigation”. The details/eligibility conditions for selection are given here under:

Other Terms & Conditions:

Selected candidates should have to sign a Non-disclosure Agreement (NDA) regarding the information and data shared by PI/DIAT and other Project Team members during the project and after the project activity. 

The work, in full or part, shall not be published without the written authorization of PI/DIAT or other project team members in any national or international journals/magazines/conference proceedings.

IP Rights, if any, achieved lies with DIAT with sponsoring agency only. DIAT and sponsoring agency reserve all the rights to transfer the technology developed in this project to any third party for implementation or improvement.

Candidates will not be permitted to carry any report (in full or part)/documents (in full or part)/items related to the project. They will be provided Service Certificates or Appreciation letter only. No copy of Project report (in full or part) will be permitted to carry.

How To Apply The Opportunity:

Candidates working in Government/Public Sector Undertakings/Autonomous Bodies should produce a ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the present employer. 

Names of the candidate shortlisted for interview will be made available on DIAT website and an email will be sent to suitable candidates. No interim communication is allowed.

Defence Institute of Advanced Technology Pune invites application form from eligible and capable candidates to take admission to M. Tech Programmes. Contenders who desire to take admission to DIAT Pune they may apply by filling DIAT Pune Admission 2017 Application Form with all important details on or before the end date. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates who are willing to take admission to M. Tech Programmes in DIAT they must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology or a Master’s degree in Science with 55% aggregate marks/5.5 CGPA and valid GATE score.

Admission process:

•  Admission to the M. Tech programme shall be made directly based on GATE score.

•  Candidates are required to submit separate applications for each specialization.

•  Admission to a specialization shall be made based on separate GATE discipline wise merit list.

• DIAT reserves the right to offer the specialization on given M Tech programme.

• Candidates under sponsored category (MoD sponsored) will be admitted through Research & Training (R & T) and Postgraduate Training (PGT) schemes for DRDO and Tri-services Officers including Coast Guard respectively.

• Such candidates need to apply through their employer.

• These admissions shall be operated jointly by DIAT and RAC/DRDO (through DHRD/DRDO).

Scholarship:

• Scholarship Category students are eligible for applying for Scholarship (Rs. 12,400/- per month) under DBT scheme of AICTE, during the M. Tech Course, subject to attendance.

• No financial support will be available from DIAT (DU), Pune.

Age limit:
•  Age should not be more than 26 years as on 01 July 2017.
•  Relaxations in age will be applicable for reserved category  as per GOI rules.

• General Category : Rs. 500/-

• Women and Reserved category (SC/ST/OBC/PWD) candidates : Rs. 250/-

Note: Application fee can be paid online or by Demand Draft drawn in favour of Vice Chancellor, DIAT, payable at Pune. The application fee is non-refundable.
